A Normal Day

I love nothing more than a normal day. And nothing makes you more grateful for a normal day than a sick day (or 3 in our case). The kids got pink eye and the stomach flu (and if anyone knows how I feel about sickness, you'd know that I don't do well with it). And I do have to thank Pat, he's been home all week for Fall Break and has been helping me a lot. Otherwise I don't think I could've handled it. My kids have been so good through it all. I'm glad that today is normal and we are back to being healthy. Lukas is already asking me what "chore" he can do today...he's cleaning the windows...and Max is back to his normal mischeif (throwing crackers down on my newly mopped floor and crushing them with his fat little feet). AhhhH! I love my kids.

I am glad everyone is feeling better. It's the worst when our kiddos are sick. Yea, I kept my kiddos in their cages for as long as I could! Thanks for your guys's help. I appreciate you guys. One of these days I will figure this house thing out!

The big boy bed is hard. I am determined to keep Max in a crib until further notice... I am so not ready to end naps, or struggle with bed time. We have a really good thing going on with the crib. He still can't climb out. But your Max will catch on I'm sure and you'll love it.
And oh to have a normal day. I think I need to accept that these are my new normal days. Hectic, busy and messy. At least until Gavin will establish a routine that is dependable.
Good for you!!
ANd I'm glad you are all healthy again.

Awwww, I love that Lukas is asking what chore he can do and I literally laughed out loud when I read about Max and the crackers. LOL This too shall pass.

Kid's are great!! I love having sickies. You probably handle it better than I do. That worked out perfect that Pat had Fall break so you had help. By the way, I had no idea how crafty you are. Well done!

You are such a great mom! I am sure even the sick days are great ones for your family! I am glad everyone is on the mend. I do have to say that crushing crackers on an newly mopped floor does sound kind of fun! I bet it feels kind of neat!

Hi- I just found your blog (from Trisha's) It's crazy living so close, but I swear we don't see anyone since we're in a different ward! Your boys are getting so big! You'll have to let me know when you have another botique coming up-I missed your other one!
