Happy Heart Day!

Valentine's Day...it can be so over-rated and depressing when you are single. Believe me, I've had plenty of black V-days in my time. But, now that I have my own family and lover boy it's fun to go all out. Nothing makes me happier than pink and red M&M's and everything heart shaped. I am very blessed to have 3 great guys in my life and they sure made it special for me. Pat and I went out Friday to the Cheesecake Factory (YUM) and to see the movie "Valentine's Day" (totally funny- go see it!). And Sunday we had a special family dinner (which included heart shaped meatloaf w/ mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls, chocolate dipped strawberries, brownies and ice cream and a raspberry drink). Cupid brought the boys some shirts and lunch boxes with toys inside. And my cupid bought me a LABEL MAKER! I can't tell you how excited I am to label things. Yahooo!! Thank you honey. The boys got me the cutest card and they love opening it over and over. We even got Wolfie some treats and chew toys. Lukas kept saying, "When are our guests coming? I can't wait 'til our guests arrive." I guess I only do nice dinners if we have company or it's a holiday. Hmmm. And Max loved the messages on the sweethearts. In fact, he ate an entire box (the big kind) all by himself. He'd say, "If you say I love you then you can have a heart." What cute boys I have. :)

You just made me reconsider Vday as a holiday I might enjoy. You are so creative and it looks like you guys had so much fun. (I want to see Valentine's Day too.)

You have inspired me to go even more out for Valentines Day. We heart attack the living room for the kids, but I love the valentine-themed day with treats and dinner...too cute! By the way, you are such a cute pregnant girl...you look great!
