It was 2 years ago today that we found out about Papa's cancer. It changed our outlook and our perspective. We feel so blessed that he is alive and so this year we celebrated beating the odds. We ate at McDonald's...a favorite of Papa's...and then played some fun games together. I am thankful for a reason to celebrate! (And he even ate his entire Big Mac-which is an accomplishment since his medicine makes him lose his appetite).

That is so wonderful! What an amazing thing to celebrate! We miss you and your family. Zoey is a doll and I can't wait get to know her!
