My parents celebrated their 40 year anniversary yesterday. We took them flowers and a cake to celebrate. Staying together for 4 decades is an amazing thing! They are such great examples to me of how a marriage should be. Congrats parents for a wonderful life together.

I LOVE the pictures Lukas drew for his grandparents. I remember feeling so excited when Aubrey first presented me with a family picture she had drawn herself. :) Tyler's parents have been married about 44 years (if I'm remembering right) and it really is a huge blessing. I read in an email that my mom sent to me a couple of years ago that if your parents are still alive and still married, you're very rare, even in Canada.
