First Snowman of the Season

We woke up to a bright white layer of snow on the ground the other day. I was disappointed b/c I wanted the colorful leaves to stick around longer. I'm NOT ready for snow and cold. Ugh! Pat surprised us and came home early to build a snowman with Lukas. They had fun rolling him up and making him look like a snowman. I was nice and warm inside!

I can't believe there was enough snow for that! We should have taken Polly out, now it's gone! I guess it will be back soon enough, that is the cutest little snowman!

janece, bless Ur heart.I am reading up on your blog because it seems i have missed a lot... sorry, I am so sorry your kids are giving you a run for your money... but remember 2 things.,..1. you are such a good mom, far better a mother than i will ever be, and 2. this is just a phase, it will pass with your gentle persuasion.
Also, I love the snowman, what a great dad Pat is,,, and together you make a perfect team. Miss you

Wow! Lukas looks so cute and proud next to that snowman. I have to say we haven't gotten any snow in the metro area yet and I am so thankful. Halloween was a whopping 70 some odd degrees, the first in 55 years they said. Right now it's 55 outside. I hate the cold so I'm enjoy the warmer fall/winter weather right now. :)

The look on Lukas' face says it all. How fun. I agree with you about snow though. I'm never ready for snow before December. In fact, if I had my way, it would snow only on Christmas Eve, and then never again for the rest of the year. Of course we need the water, but it's a nice thought, right? :)

You are too cute! I love the little snowman. You are better then me. Carter begged me all afternoon to build one when he saw yours. Of course by then most of it had melted, it was too late. He was a little mad at me.

Love the snowman!!
Also, do you know/remember an Elder Collingridge (from BC Cananda) from your mission? He says your name is familiar to him. He's a buddy of mine from highschool.
