40 Years

My parents celebrated their 40 year anniversary yesterday. We took them flowers and a cake to celebrate. Staying together for 4 decades is an amazing thing! They are such great examples to me of how a marriage should be. Congrats parents for a wonderful life together. (Lukas drew this picture of his Papa and Nana. How cute is that?)

    Congrats to your parents. Your dad looks really good. In this picture he looks just like grandma especially the eyes.

    Congrats to your parents although I hope they haven't been together for 4 centuries, they'd be REALLY old! :)

    I LOVE the pictures Lukas drew for his grandparents. I remember feeling so excited when Aubrey first presented me with a family picture she had drawn herself. :) Tyler's parents have been married about 44 years (if I'm remembering right) and it really is a huge blessing. I read in an email that my mom sent to me a couple of years ago that if your parents are still alive and still married, you're very rare, even in Canada.
