Pat and I got all our stuff out of his mom's storage yesterday and discovered I had a twin bed from my college days! We borrowed a friend's truck and hauled our stuff home. Lukas was excited for his new bed. He's been in a toddler bed for years, but he just always seems to roll off somehow. Or end up in our bed. :(Anyway, we went and got him some fun Diego sheets and he's loving his big kid bed. Max likes it, too and I can see him finding a way out of his crib in no time at all.) I have been dying to get them bunk beds, but they are just a little too young still. So this was a fun, cheap compromise!

It looks like Lukas really loves his new bed! Aubrey's sleeping in my old twin-size bed too, and if it holds up it will probably be her bed from now until she moves out as an adult! :) It was a hard day when Aubrey out-grew the crib for good. Are we still on for coming over sometime this week? Let me know; we're excited! :)

He's such a big boy, but he looks so teeny tiny on that huge bed. He doesn't even take up a fourth of it! Isn't that funny!

Cute! I have started thinking about this too. Rex and Sam will eventually have to share Rex's room and it is pretty small so we will have to do bunk beds. I am thinking next Summer, so we have to start saving now!
