We woke up this morning and got all ready for church and looked out the window to see SNOW. I thought it was just a little, but we opened the door and couldn't even see the street or our yard or the driveway. The plows didn't come through, so Pat got out there and started shoveling so we could get out. He was out there for a good hour trying to clear the path, but we were snowed in. We even loaded the kids in the car and tried to rev it up to get out, only to get stuck and not get anywhere. So we're snowed in. Only now it started to clear up and all the neighbors are out there clearing the driveways and sidewalks. We had stake conference today too, and they were splitting our ward. Now we'll have to hear it through the grapevine what the new boundaries are.

We actually made it to Stake Conference my some MIRACLE! I wish we would have stayed to hear the boundary changes, but Polly was out of control so as soon as we knew our ward wasn't affected we left. Lorin is shoveling at the church right now...and the plows NEVER come down our street. I swear we are like a secret neighborhood that no one knows (or cares) about. Half the time they don't get our garbage either!
P.S. One of the Elders talked about how we need to be better missionaries to our friends & family because there are so many people ready to her the gospel. It made me think of you!!
You & Pat have such a beautiful house. Tyler & I were almost snowed in ourselves this morning, especially since we have church at 9:00. The wind blew a 3-foot drift of snow onto our front porch! I don't know about you, but I'm having a REALLY BAD case of SPRING FEVER right about now!
Hey Janece, are we in the same stake? We live in Riverton right on the border of Herriman and had stake conf, today as well. I think we are in the Herriman Stake.
Hey Guys,
Whats going on?? Looks like a pretty nice house you got there...Cool beans!! Whats new with you guys...Sorry we havent been down for like ever, but Kluane wants to make an IKEA run so we should be down soon...
Take care, scott, kluane, kaiden, and connor...
I can't believe how much snow you had! I've been depressed about all the rain we've been having, but now I am just grateful it isn't snow! Robyn and Joe had to drive home from the hospital, with their new baby, on Sunday and she said Joe got stuck in the parking lot at the hospital and all the streets were miserable. Looking at your picture, I can see why.
Goodness, you guys got so much snow. It's crazy, it feels like it's never going to stop, lol.
